The original Henriet family specialised in Champagne production wheras the Bazins were grape growers- now four generations later, father and daughter are producing some sensational Champagne from Grand and Premier Cru vineyards in some of the best locations in the Montagne de Reims.
Their prestigous vineyards are situated in the Grand Cru villages of Verzy and Verzenay renowned for the excellance of the Pinot Noir. Highly sought after by such prestigous houses as Krug, Bollinger and Roederer the Pinots of these villages give immense character and style to a blend. The Pinot Noirs are vinous with pepper, iron, mineral and gunpowder aromas sought after for many prestige cuvees.
Henriet-Bazin use classic vinification in tank, no oak is utilised and malo-lactic fermentations are blocked for all cuvees.
